Hi Nancy,

Our old Scottie developed cushings this past July. She was pretty sick with liver problems. She has had 2 lysodren treatments to slow the progression and almost died in Oct after the last treatment. Her cushings has been reversed to addisons disease and is now maintained on prednisone for the remainder of her life. I started her on Nuvet vitamins after she almost died in Oct. I have noticed that she has improved her energy, her coat, and she is doing much better overall. My vet recommended we get a puppy to help me and our old dog during this very sad time. Little Shelby has done just that. My old dog plays like a puppy with Shelby...before she just slept. I suspect that my old dog will pass away this next year...right now I am greatful for the good time we have together.
